Rielinne/Yukikahi325 Afterword

Hi, hi! I'm Rielinne (or Rie), also formerly known as Yukikahi325 on the old Wiki! I'm one of the translators for the Swordcraft HNI project and more infamously the yappiest SN loredumper in the Discord community lol. I first joined the project when Zelly was looking for more translators, and I jumped aboard because firstly I was curious about how actually translating (localizing) a game itself works, myself being a fan of Ted Woolsey, JJJewel, Legends of Localization and all, but also because at the time I made it my goal to help bring the entire Summon Night series into English, and Swordcraft HNI is my first stepping stone into that journey. This is my first time ever writing a foreword so I'm frankly nervous, but I wanted to use my foreword as a (kinda big?) dedication piece to all the amazing people I've ever associated with (or looked up to) in the SN fanbase throughout the years.

Within the team, I had a lot of fun working with a lot of the team members when I was helping work on the TL. Zelly and Cornstarch most especially, but there's also Ari, Blizi, Joey, Pablitox, Kuroba, HeroBan, Minette, and many more to count--they're all amazing! Gangrelion also basically inspired me delve deeper into Summon Night, lore and all, thanks to their old wiki so I also dedicate my best gratitude towards them for getting me into the series through their fanworks! It was shocking that I get to work on the same project as my idol though lol.

Outside the team I also dedicate this afterword to Korbiegg, one of my most favorite besties in the entire SN fanbase who is especially a fan of Summon Night X and Swordcraft HNI--she would TOTALLY love this; Baten, Senkan, Diva, Jack, Mai, Rikineko, Amimm, Linkhood, Hamastra, Bob, and all the other besties that I had the pleasure of fangirling and/or befriending with in the past few years lol; Tak, my SO; and especially you, for being patient with the HNI team in spite of all the years that have gone by and for never losing faith in us ;-;

Now that I've done my part for Swordcraft HNI, I'm super grateful for the hands-on experience and I'm now more confident with the game translation schtick. I will move on towards helping other teams fan-localize other Summon Night (and maybe also other Flight-Plan series) games like Summon Night 1 and SN Exthese! Yay!

I also will focus my attention on chipping away at Summon Night Wiki 2.0, so if you're looking forward to the other endeavors that I'll gladly take a step and a half to do for the sake of the SN series, feel free to join me on my SN restoration journey! (As well as fangirling on the Discord server lol)

This was such a lengthy yap lol, but once again I'm thankful to everybody both in and outside of the team! I hope you enjoy Swordcraft HNI and that it inspires you to delve deeper into the Summon Night universe as much as my idols have inspired me! Ciao! <3
