Ceri Afterword

I truly can't overstate how proud I am that our collective baby is finally out in the world. Over a decade of collective effort! Literally a generational project! I had friends I bonded with over the first two games in college who wanted me to let them know when we were done with the third; now those same people're married with kids and hit me with the "wow, you were still doing that?!". Wait, oh god, am I old now?

I won't lie, I've been pretty inactive in the last couple years (save for dropping in some opinions now and then, god knows I have Opinions 👀). I always vaguely meant to come back and help again in earnest, but somehow just never quite found the time... Ain't that always the way... In famous words, "I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."; the discord and credits are littered with names only vaguely familiar to me, but even still, we were all one team, passing one baton on and on until it was finally home. I'm forever grateful to those craftknights who carried it after me; you who were forged in the Cat Drama are truly tougher than the strongest steel, lmao.

I'm so excited to play through the final version and see the culmination of what everyone's built together. The Swordcraft Story games were really something special, and it's such a relief to complete the trilogy.
